FileZilla is an awesome FTP client, but sometimes it can be to debug.

One of the most weird errors you can receive is the following:

"Site Manager – Cannot remember password: Saving of passwords has been disabled by you. ‘Normal’ and ‘Account’ logotypes are not available. Your entry has been change to ‘Ask for password.

Once this happens, FileZilla Site Manager cannot remember password.

The fix for this is pretty simple: go to Edit -> Settings -> on the left side click “Interface” and uncheck the “Do not save passwords” checkbox.

I have no idea why they put that by default – but at least the fix is easy enough for everyone to do in under 5 minutes.
